I've been laggin'....

I know I've been lagging on the posting lately, really no excuses, I'd just rather sleep!!! This little guy wears me out! And can you believe I want more? I just wanted to say how blessed I feel to be his mom. People wonder how I can stay home all day with him. Don't get me wrong, it's hard and there are days that I want to run and hide, but I wouldn't want to miss any moment of his young, innocent, precious life. Watching him experience new things for the first time is so much fun!!! Last week we went to the beach (I know... the beach in MARCH... crazy, huh?) and we discovered my son loves the water. There was no pulling him away. If I would have let him, he would have swam away with the dolphins. There were lots of screams and tears, but after some distracting he managed to forget about the water. We love going to Disneyland, the park, story time at the library, playing with his cousins and running errands. We try to stay as busy as possible so Zach takes a good nap!!! My greatest excitement these days is a child that finally sleeps through the night (a complete 12 hours)!!!! This has been going on for a few months now and has made all the difference in both him and me!!! I love it!!!

*I love his little expression and profile. This was his first time feeding the ducks. Normally he would be yelling, screaming, laughing in his normal ZACHY fashion, but he was so somber and serene looking at the crazy ducks!! Ever since this day he hands me his toy duck and wants me to squeeze it to make it do the quacking sound. It's amazing how they retain so much, so fast!!! I love moments like this!!!

I didn't do it Momma!!

I could have never imagined all the things Zach would love getting into. He is the busiest little guy I've ever met, and I thought my nephew was busy; Zach puts him to shame. Let me just paint a picture for you of the things Zach enjoys taking out and throwing on the floor over and over and over again:
Pots and pans -Check
Dish towels, oven mitts and wash cloths-Check
Tupperware-Check

Books, books and more books-Check

DVD's-Check

Just recently he discovered how to open our bathroom cupboards, and yes, found mom's personal items. I say, "hey whatever keeps him happy!" And how can you say no to a face like that?!!

"I didn't do it Momma!"
