Ugly Christmas Sweater Party

Ryan and Beth threw an ugly Christmas Sweater Party. We had a great time, as you can tell from the video clips. Chris wowed everyone with his homemade light extravaganza and went home with the ugliest sweater prize. In the clip, I can't remember what started the laughing but Lynnley couldn't stop and neither could the rest of us. The company and food were awesome. I also realized that I can't take anymore pictures of myself until after Zach comes (ugh!!)

Clay Pigeons

This is Chris shooting at clay pigeons out in Megan and Darrick's backyard; yes backyard

Red Bluff, CA

After we saw Brandon, Chris and I drove 4 hours to see my brother Darrick and his wife Megan and their little girl Ava. We had never been to their new place in Red Bluff, CA. It was a short visit, but we had a great time being with them.

We went to a local pumpkin patch and helped Ava pick out her pumpkin.
Megan, me, and Meredith. I miss my sisters!!!
Chris scares me with that thing. Be careful honey.
Ava is such a sweet little girl. She really hams it up for the camera. Ask her what a turkey says and she'll tell you, "Dobble, Dobble, Dobble" it is the cutest thing you've ever heard.
What a beautiful picture, if I do say so myself!
I think we found the one, mom!
" Get me outta here!"

Trip to Fallon, NV

Last month Chris and I went on a road trip up to Nevada and then over to Northern California to visit our families. Our first stop was in Fallon, NV to visit Chris' brother Brandon and his family. We had a great time seeing their newly finished home and new addition to their family, Matthew. The girls had grown so much and enjoyed playing with their Uncle Chris and Aunt Lynsey.

Ellie is quite the character and had us laughing with her sweet comments. Emily wanted to be just like her sister and is quite active. Lisa sure does have her hands full, literally. Often times she was carrying both Emily and Matthew around.

WICKED!!!!

For my 25th Birthday, Chris took me to see the wonderful musical Wicked. After months and months of talking about it, he finally broke down and took me. Surprisingly, he really enjoyed it. I think I might have a husband that actually likes going to musicals. We had a great time and can't wait to go to another one. I think our little one even enjoyed it, he was kicking me the entire time (probably too much noise).

It's A Boy!!!

Chris and I are so delighted to be expecting a baby boy!!

There is no doubt it's a boy!!!
There he is waving high to everyone!
Chris laughed at me when I told him that he has his profile. Don't you see it too? (just joking)

Just another day of work!

My boss took me on a weekend trip with her to Napa Valley. On the way home, her pilot let me sit in the jumpseat and watch the takeoff. I tried to upload the actual take-off but it was too big of a file. The screens in the plane look like they are flashing, but they weren't, just my silly camera.

It's not everyday I fly in a private jet and get treated like royalty, but I sure enjoyed it. I can't believe I get paid for this!

Lynsey's Trip to Maui

These are some of the many pictures I took while on the beautiful island of Maui. 10 of my friends and I spend a wonderful week in Hawaii enjoying the magnificent creations.
This is Fishbowl Aquarium; the best snorkeling of the trip. It was a long 30 minute hike over the lava flows but well worth the trek. The fish there were absolutely gorgeous.
This was one picture we were able to caputre with all ten girls in. This was on the rode to Hana, just off the highway; just beautiful.
Another picture at Fishbowl with Heather Williams and Shawni Meredith. Only five of us were brave enough to make the trek down there.
I had to get a picture in front of the sign where we ate athentic Hawaiian food; "Da Kitchen"
I don't know why we were so excited, we had to leave the next day.
Posing at sunset on the beach.
Beautiful waterfall, just off the beaten path.
This was the entrance to the Seven Sacred Pools
This is the Seven Sacred Pools, it was absouletly breathtaking!
Judy, Ruby and I enjoying the famous Hawaiian Shaved Ice.

OC Fair 2007

On Saturday Chris and I, and some friends went to the annual Orange County Fair. We had a great time eating lots of fried food, with not much guilt on my part!! We were unable to see the annual Demolition Derby, but settled for a new show called Lucha Libre. It was the Mexican version of WWF. We had a good laugh at the silly costumes and choreographed moves.

But, by far, the most bizarre thing we saw at the fair was this huge bull. The pictures do not even do it justice, but this thing was massive. It weighed over 3500 lbs. We had to pay a dollar to go inside and see it and I can honestly say I have never see anything so huge that close before. I was a little scared that it could charge us at any second, but then I realized that it would take 5 minutes for the thing to stand.

The sign outside said it could make 10,000 hamburgers. Yikes!!

Brook Trout

Chris said most of the fish they caught were brook trout.

He was glad to have gone on such a memorable trip and to see all the beauty that the area had to offer. But he was equally glad to come home to his lonely, pregnant wife!

Lodging for 5 days

Chris said the tent was way too small! Maybe that's why they came home early?

Chris' Backpacking Trip in the Sierra Mountains

Chris just returned from his long awaited backpacking trip in the Sierra's. Chris and his long time friend Brian, hiked a whopping 45 miles in 5 days. They passed over two peaks both over 12,000 feet with their 45 lb packs. They ate lots of fish, rice, oatmeal, and of course Chris had to have his hot chocolate. Some of the lakes they visited were: Kearsarge, Rae, Dragon, Bull Frog, and Charlotte. Chris said Dragon Lake was his favorite because the fish were bigger and the fishing was better.
